elcome to the June issue! I’m excited to have Jake Parker Wymard on

our cover and I love our cover photo! Big thanks to Jake and Sidelines

photographer Kacy Brown for dragging the chair into the field to create a

magical photo!

Jake grew up in a horse family—we featured Jake’s mother, Ginger Parker, in a story

last year—and I enjoyed meeting Jake and Ginger in Ocala at the World Equestrian

Center. Ginger may have introduced Jake to horses, but now they are business partners

and work together.

Jake has a great story of growing up on his family farm and not really wanting to ride—

and then suddenly wanting to ride. During his Junior years, Jake had the opportunity to

work with a lot of great people. While Jake learned something from every lesson he took,

Bruce Davidson, Andre Dignelli, Louise Serio and Kevin Babington truly changed him

as a rider.

What is evident in Jake’s story—and when you meet him—is his passion for horses.

I think our passion for horses, and the horse world as a whole—is what drives us to be

better horsemen and horsewomen.

I’m also excited to introduce you to dressage rider Jenny Cunningham. Originally from

Ireland, Jenny now lives in Orlando, Florida, with her husband and horses. Jenny began

her career as a show jumper, but in 2019 both Jenny and her High Adult Amateur jumper,

Bingo—who had zero dressage experience—made the switch to dressage.

Jenny has found her passion in the dressage ring—and also on social media. Jenny has

become an influencer and spends a great deal of time creating content—which of course

revolves around her horse life! I think you’ll enjoy getting to know Jenny.

Isabel McGovern also has a great story—and one that will inspire young riders

everywhere. Isabel is a member of Auburn University’s National Collegiate Equestrian

Association (NCEA) team, and on her first day of school her freshman year, she

attended tryouts and made the team, which is consistently ranked at the top of the

Southeastern Conference.

Isabel has a wonderful passion for Auburn—both the team and her major. Get to know

Isabel in this issue and share her story with the young riders in your life.

It’s hard to believe our June issue is here, which means we are halfway through our

2025 issues. If you don’t have a subscription to Sidelines, visit the Sidelines website and

subscribe so you never miss an issue.

have believed in me and I just can’t thank you all

I would like to let you all know how grateful

I am for the opportunity to have had my two

sons, William and Julian Hanna, and I featured

in such a beautiful editorial and the cover

my riding and love of horses first began, to

developing our jumper ponies at Finca Hanna

in Santa Catalina, Panama, founding Forte

Naturals top equine supplements and now
